CLERGY AND STAFF

THE VERY REV. KENNETH R. PEPIN
Rector
Our new rector as of February 1, 2019 hails from the great state of Massachusetts. He was born to the late Jean M Pepin and Alma Pepin. He has an older brother Ronnie who resides with his wife Claire in Attleboro Massachusetts. An older sister Janet and her wife Francie reside in Boone NC and in Ocala Florida.
Ken is married to Mery and they have twin children, Gregory and Katherine who are 18 and attend Fairport High School. Gregory is an avid tennis player and is presently on the Varsity team at Fairport. Katherine loves the flute and volleyball. They are both in the Journey To Adulthood program here at St Luke’s.
Ken began his religious career as a Roman Catholic missionary priest in 1987, serving in Canada and Argentina before leaving the Roman Church and being received into the Episcopal Church as priest in 2000. Along this rather adventurous path he worked as a social worker for the City of Charlottesville, VA and with the Salvation Army there.
As an Episcopal priest, Ken has served in the diocese of East Carolina, Alabama, Ohio and Rochester, NY. Most recently, Ken has come to us from the parishes of Grace, Scottsville, NY and St. Andrew’s Caledonia where there was mutual appreciation in the ministry.
St. Luke’s is familiar with Ken as he has served here for a short time covering the previous rector’s leave back in 2013. Ken is excited to re- connect with our parish and looks forward to working with parish leaders to enact our strategic plans and goals for the future. He hopes that his experience and his energy and love will be a great fit for us. He hopes to be able to reach out to those who may have been estranged for one reason or another from our St. Luke’s family. So, don’t hesitate to contact him by email at kenstlfpt@gmail.com or 585 201-2669.

REVRERE
REVEREND RICHARD KRAPF
Deacon
The Reverend Richard (Rich) and Lisa Krapf live in Canandaigua and have two sons: David (29) and Aaron (27). Richard is a self-employed architect, and Lisa is a clinical pharmacist at the VA in Canandaigua.
Ordained in 2008, Richard was the director of the Gleaners Community Kitchen for ten years and formed the Hands of Hope Kitchen in Bloomfield in 2014. He can be found there every Wednesday, cooking and greeting the many guests who come for a meal.
Richard enjoys traveling, photography, cooking, saltwater fishkeeping, and knitting. Along with traveling, Lisa likes to sew, quilt, and brew beer. She also enjoys hiking and recently completed a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon (Rich chose the donkey method). They are foster “parents” for All Bassets Cherished Basset Hound Rescue and have rescued Cooper (3) for themselves.
They both look forward to life at St. Luke’s and the ministry possibilities that the future holds.
