BE HEART-HEALTHY! A COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM OF COMMUNITY DRIVERS
It does our hearts good to stretch! As the summer sun and the lifting of many of our Covid restrictions free us to breathe more freely and feel lighter, we invite you to share that freedom. Many of us are frequent drivers—having the freedom to go anywhere, most anytime. Freedom to do the simple, but necessary, things like a stop at the pharmacy… the doctor… the grocery store. Others can no longer drive, and this is a significant problem for many of our neighbors, yet they still need to shop and attend appointments. They could use a lift—an outreach from us—a heart-stretch. If you have a couple of hours a week, or even a couple of hours a month, consider being a volunteer driver. You can select your geographic area and the times you wish to drive. You will be provided with training and supplemental accident and liability insurance. Give your heart a good stretch! For more information on becoming a volunteer driver, call Sr. Anne Guerin at 585-244-8400, ext. 142, or email email@example.com
PERINTON FOOD SHELF
The Perinton Food Shelf is in need of a few items. They are: stuffing, frosting, brownie mixes, ketchup, mayo, mustard, shampoo and toothbrushes.
You can drop off these items at the Perinton Community Center around the back of the building, Fairport Library, Red Bird Market and numerous churches. Thank you for your help.
THE HILL VIEW
The Hill View is our parish quarterly magazine. Before the digital age, a monthly newsletter would arrive in the mail with news, stories, pictures, jokes, information, and calendars for the month ahead. We've replaced that monthly newsletter with a weekly memo (see above) and with our quarterly magazine. Submissions are due to the parish office on the first day of the month to begin each quarter of our liturgical year (December 1; March 1; June 1; September 1)
